Since 1999, HowZone has provided Content Distribution and Syndication Services from it's Seattle Headquarters. Drawing on over 15 years of knowledge transfer, online learning and technology expertise, company founder and CEO, John Knapp designed and created the HowZone Platform to meet these objectives:

• Support all content types, free and subscription based
• Aggregate content from many, many contributors
• Employ extraordinarily broad reaching distribution methods
• Make it easy for affiliates to integrate HowZone into their facility
• Present content both online (web, email) and offline (packaging, POS)

Having met these objectives, the HowZone Content Distribution Platform received patent protection under US patent #6,769,010 with other patents pending. HowZone is using this innovative and powerful platform to meet the needs of content contributors and publishers of all sizes.

The HowZone Platform is managed via the web with separate interfaces for Contributors, Affiliates and End-users with additional interfaces for HowZone staff. HowZone uses PayPal for payment processing for subscriptions, services and revenue share payments to Contributors and Affiliates. The HowZone Platform is connected via OC-12c, and GigE to four diverse Internet backbones.
